I haven’t really posted about my running experiences lately… maybe the is because I haven’t really been running much. I have been driving though.

So this past weekend I drove my ‘77 Firebird around town. I took some photos and posted them to flickr. The photo got picked up by GM FYI Blog. I’m pretty excited that my Firebird made the “front page”!

Well I’m behind on posting my runs.  I ran 5 times since my last blog entry.  Tonights run was approximately 45 minutes.  So I’m nearly back to my pre-procedure length and I’m feeling pretty good.  I do enjoy exercising and staying healthy.  I feel better and have more energy too.  Plus, the extra cookie is easier to take. (My wife made some fresh peanut butter cookies tonight.)  :)

I ran three times this week after taking quite a while off from a minor operation.

First run was tough, I walked several times.  Second time was better.  Third time seemed to feel pretty good, almost normal.  All runs were about 30 minutes.

I’m currently away, recovering from a procedure.  So not much activity lately… running, biking, or even walking.  I’ll be back soon!

Well I’m still active and running periodically. Not blogging every occurrence.

I did bike 24 miles with my fellow blogger gbrand last Friday.

That was a great experience. Just to think that I saved $3.20 worth of gas, and maybe more importantly got some exercise! I will have to say that I wanted to give up on the way home… and my behind was sore for a few days after. I think I need one of those springy grandma like seats if I am to bike any great distances in the future. :)

Hey readers,

 I’m not sure if I can keep this up.  I’m behind now in writing about the past 3 runs I had.  I suppose the effort and novelty may be wearing off? Oh well, this was a fun experience.  I still like to do this as a record and for comraderie with my friends: gbrand and halfrt.

So here goes a mini recap.  I ran 3 times, with one of them with my wife.  It was fun to talk with her and to keep pushing each other to keep going. 

Tonight, I ran for about 6 miles because I wanted to catch up on all the podcasts I’ve been meaning to listen to.  CommandN is my favorite podcast.

I’m behind on a post…  Just thought of it.  Last week Saturday my wife and I ran, and our 2 kids rode their bikes.  We ran my wife’s route and I had a great time with the family… although my wife didn’t want to talk while running… :)

Tonight I ran while my 2 kids rode their bikes.   We stopped half way during the run at the ice cream shop.  After 2 twist kiddie cones we were back on track.  I ran for about 30 minutes total.  I’m still working my way up and trying to get more speed.

This was such as nice evening…

The weather was nice, and I had the opportunity to go running for 30 minutes while my daughter rode her bike.  Gotta love the long days of the spring and summer, you can fit so much more in in a day!
