Grand Valley State University has recently become members of ETOM (Educational Technology Organization of Michigan) and each year the members gather together for a conference. This year, Macomb Community College hosted the event and there were 11 sessions on topics such as: online course quality, open education resources, interactive technologies, using master course shells for online courses, and more! The keynote was entitled “The Frontiers of Education” by Andrew Vanden Heuvel who is a Google Glass Explorer and an online faculty member.
